Pastel Clown Photos

CaseyLazik Jul 06, 2008 02:18 PM

After two days of sitting in the egg, the lone Pastel Clown has emerged from his egg.

I can't get over that head!

Here he is with his two Clown sisters. The last Pastel is still in the egg.

Eight eggs total. Pastel het Clown bred to a het Clown female.
Results: 1 Pastel Clown, 2 Clowns, 4 Pastels, 1 normal.

Thanks for looking!

Congrats Casey. I would have bet a million it was a Super based on the head from your other photo. Either way it's an outstanding snake.

That's a beauty Casey...I love that combo. Has anybody raised one to adult yet? Curious how the Pastel brown-out works with Clown mixed in.

Thanks. Sure, there are some Pastel Clowns that are now 2 and 3 years old. They are variable like Pastels and Clowns are. Some are nicer than others. I think we will continue to see an improvement in the quality of this combination with selective breeding of Pastel and Clown lines.

Thanks for the comments. The lighter head color on this one made me take a second look at the label on the egg box. I can only hope for that Killer Clown in the future. Like other morphs and combo morphs, there seems to be a good deal of variation among individuals.
