Unknow snake in Houston

My sister found this snake in her backyard. The pics are from her camera phone, so poor. Anybody know what it is?

I now think it's a broad-banded water snake (Nerodia fasciata confluens). She lives not too far from a bayou and is going release it down there.

That's a Broad-banded Watersnake. Quite common in the Houston area, even in heavily populated areas along the Bayous.
