Blood snow picts

boxienuts Jul 06, 2008 05:53 PM

I really like the amel bloodreds and was planning to get a pair next year with any money raised from the corn clutches I am incubating right now, but now I am thinking maybe I should get one amel blood and one charcoal blood (pewter) and breed them, then breed those babies which would be bloods het amel and anery b (charcoal), and have a nice mixed clutch. So my question is does a bloodred snow have less yellow than a normal snow, is it a cleaner white snake, or would it be more solid yellow, or do they pretty much look the same? and could someone please post a picture bloodred snow if they have one?
Thanks

What are you going to get with an Fire X Pewter... bloods het for amel and anery b or bloods het for Blizzard.. Blizzards tend to have far less yellow if any on them to begin with. However, will the addition of the blood/difussed gene change that? Likely not very much, however it will remove the next to not apparent pattern from the side of the Blizzard animal, and it will probably leave you with a fairly clean white snake.. as far as posting a picture of one, your going to have better luck of searching the web for a picture.. They do exist however...

Sorry, my bad, I said snow bloodred, but you are right, I just looked it up in my morph guide; charcoal, amel, diffusion = "Whiteout", please excuse my ignorance, and thank you for correcting me and thanks for the link also, but I couldn't see the pics, do I need to be a member or am I not getting something?

Tim,
Found a pic of the "Whiteout", yeah I difinately want to try to make that corn snake, they look a lot like my Iowa snow plains garters that I bred, only I think the Whiteout cornsnake is even "whiter". Are the Whiteouts very commonly sold? Thanks for your help Tim.
Jeff

I don;t hear about whiteouts being sold or passed around to much.. I have a female with the hets.. Unfortunantly I don't have a male for the project.. The amel was a bonus gene, or a pain in the butt gene for all intesnive purposes...
