Update on my WC male

This is the little male I found in march of this year - probably a late '07 hatchling as I've seen them out of the egg bigger than he was:

I don't think he will be big enough to breed my female (also wc same locality) in '09 but I never thought that was realistic. He may be sexually mature, I'm planning on brumating him, so I will at least give him the opportunity.

However - his growth has been amazing, he's now eating small adult mice - and could possibly handle large adult mice. I have no doubts about the '10 season.

He's a nice looking Pacific. They'll surprise you w/ how fast they grow. I've got a female WC annectens femlae that was injured by a property owner trying to remove her from the property. She came to me really small w/ a distended jaw. I'm guessing she was a late '06 hatch. Now she's 33" and a mouse pounder.
