Baby pueblan stubborn feeder >.

I have a milksnake that just shed well in one piece yesterday, but the problem is that it doesn't wanna eat, kinda makes me confused >.<

I've tried to give it the smallest pinky i ever get but it doesn't touch it. I'm worried because it didn't eat last week due to shedding period, then if it won't eat again this week, that would make it fast for 2 weeks already.

Also, my milksnake (baby) rarely use its hide box but instead it likes to rest on tiny spaces like the space between hide box and the glass wall cage.

Could u guyz give me advice to encourage him to eat again? And also bout the hide box, should i get another one or is it the reason why it doesn't wanna eat? (can't use hide box)

Thanks a lot ^^

hi, i've kept and bred pueblans for 20 years...so maybe I could help you. Thaw out a pinky, warm the baby pueblan in your hand for awhile, then hold it behind the head and put the pinky in front of its mouth. It should, with a little proding, open its mouth. Insert the head of the pinky and let the hatchling bite down and get a hold, then gently lay it in its enclosure and try not to move. You may have to do this several times, be patient. Pueblans are natural chewers like most milksnakes. It should swallow it down after a minute or so as long as you don't move and scare it.

this is exactly why I don't often respond to people asking questions about their animals on this and other forums, and seeming desperate for help. If it's so important to post a question, where's the reply and/or update???? Did they even check the post to see if anyone replied???? When you pose a question asking for help or advice, and are fortunate enough to get experienced people to respond, you should at least check the post you made. Never again!
