I found it in Utah - Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Looks like a gopher snake, but something is weird about it. Kind of looks like a glossy snake too.

That is a young Great Basin Gophersnake (Pituophis catenifer deseticola)

LOL!!,......I didn't want to mention that part, or he'll start "blasting" us for every typo that we make!..haha!

I knew that Chris knows how to spell the latin name very well, and was only a simple typographical error on his part.

It certainly happens to me too from time to time,.....and from the spelling I see all the time on this and other forums,.....many seem to misspell about every other common word,..very sad indeed!
