Alright... I did my homework and still have a few questions. I am curious on my HL's possible age, and its sex, also which paticular HL is it? I have turned it over and don't see scales, bulges, whatnot... I see a vent, but I am not experienced in sexing anything but mammals, so I could just not know what I am looking for. Also, I read in a post that it is almost time for them to start thinking about hibernating... is this little guy going to want to do that in his new home? We are going to be moving this month, and the new place has a concrete koi pond (empty)that I was considering turning into a HL habitat. Good or bad idea just before possible hibernating. This guy is sooo tiny, just don't want to something wrong that is avoidable. Thank you for your help.
