Anyone that knew John Spada

SWREPTILE Jul 08, 2008 07:29 PM

Hey I found out to day that John Spada passed away last night. It was very unexpected. I got to know John the last couple of years. He was working on some neat projects. He was so excited when he hatched a caramel glow last season. He sent me a picture of the thing in the egg even. The very sad part is that he leaves behind a wife, and new little boy at is about two months old. I would like to find away to help his family. Anyone have any good idea`s on what we can do? My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I really used to enjoy chatting with John and his buddies . He always had interesting info and stories about the animals, the herp world and its characters.
It is sad and shocking that someone so young and vital can suddenly pass away and from something that in this day and age seems so minor.
I am so going to miss 'Papa Bear'.

John was always thinking what if you crossed this or that. I would tell him, hey I produced this. He would say hey breed it to this. He was always looking to trade up to the next level. Last year he wanted to just give me a spider x mojave cross. I will get something back next year from you. I know you are going to produce cool stuff.
