I just noticed this when checking with DHL on transit times. Certain area's are way out of the scope IMO of appropriate transit times.
I checked the transit times for a package going from Memphis, TN to Minot, ND shipping the 7th of Jul and this is what I got.
Next Day ETA 14 Jul before noon
Second Day ETA 15 Jul before 1500
Ground ETA 16 Jul before 1700
This was a general inquiry no weights were given etc. But I was shocked at the times given. Exspecially when ground is Guaranteed 1-6 days, but those are buisness days and the drop off date doesn't count....
Anyways be fore warned check times before shipment they may have changed. We all know rates have gone up but did the transit times also increase. I had a FedEx package come in 2 wks ago 26 hrs after it was guaranteed to be there.
The term overnight may not mean the same thing to different companies.
We pay for this service shouldn't we expect to get what we deserve, I recommend phoned in complaints. At the very least they have to listen for the brief time your on the phone.
I understand Fat Free can have a certain precentage of fat content but shouldn't overnight mean overnight....not 3-5 business days.
Cheers
