Need a name.. Opinions Anyone?

FernandezReptiles Jul 08, 2008 10:43 PM

I proved out an 06 CH male (Pic. 1)
His offspring looks almost identical (Pic. 2)
My first instinct was to call them Granites
BUT the animal in Pic. 3 is what I would
consider a prototypical Granite. I'm hoping
to prove her out this coming season.

Now I'm not the best with names but I was thinking
of calling them Gravel balls for their dirty appearance.
What do you think? Got something better? Thanks for looking!

Its super cool and is different. Congrats. I advise that you hold off on naming it until you prove disprove a super. Then you'll really know the potential of the animal your working with.

Did you prove the Granite in the bottom picture to be genetic? I have a female that looks exactly like yours.

This is an '06 captive hatched male we had hope to prove out this season. Unfortunately a female that laid 11 good eggs last season, laid 9 slugs this year.

Trying to prove her out this coming season.
I have her and another female that might as
well be from the same clutch because they are
identical.

Good luck with the project. The sire is very nice and you already know I like the babies. That's an interesting looking female also.
