>>im having terrible luck trying to get them to breed. and if i get a litter of them, the mother eats them. is there anything someone can suggest to end this for me? i only use them for a few problem feeders and i absolutely HATE dealing with mice. so i want to figure out what im doing wrong, or what im not doing right. thanks in advance.....

I have them set up similar to mice. I throw in a cardboard tube from paper towels. I also have found they love several things that I do not give my mice. I give them bird seed they seem to really relish that also crickets and carrots. You might just have a bad group. I have never had one eat its babies. Not sure why. I would see about getting a few more from a different source. They are much easier to breed than mice at least to me. They smell less and also breed when it is hot and the mice shut off. Todd
