Well why would it have no lights for awhile? Thats not a good idea, but it could be going through a shed.
Turn those lights on.
Went to the beach the lights are on now thanks.
your dragon lights, heat and UVB (unless housed outdoors) should be on 12-14 hours a day and come on at the same time each day and go off at the same time each night. IT is best to just spend a little money on a timer, then you can set the on off times on the timer, and the lights will be turned on and off automatically.

Bearded dragons change color for several reasons. To warm up faster, to cool down, when asleep, when stressed, and during their shed cycle the old skin often turns a milky opaque which makes the dragon look dull or grey till the old skin falls off.
Natural sunlight also enhances color and in a lesser extent, certain pigments found naturally in food can enhance Bearded dragon color.
