I guess I am pretty new to the forums and still don't understand all the lingo. I didn't quite understand the response I got from repman69. I understood the part about my dead chameleon being UGLY!!!!!!!!!! but I don't understand what LMAO! stands for. I'm sure if I did the message would give me a nice warm fuzzy feeling right?

I don't understand his reply either! First I don't think she was ugly and even if repman69 thought she was it was certainly an inappropriate time to express it! As for LMAO it is a variation on LOL as follows:
LOL = Laugh(ing) out loud
LMAO = Laugh(ing) my ass Off
ROFLMAO = Rolling on floor laughing my ass off
regardless, it was all insensitive - IMO (in my opinion, variation IMHO in my humble opinion)

I hadn't seen your original post, so I scrolled down to find it.
First off, my condolences on your loss. She was a cutie.
Secondly, I hope I'm missing something. The remarks made by 'whatsizzface' were uncalled for (IMO). At the very least, they were insensitive and callous. I truly do hope that it was simply a miscommunication or a clumsy approach at expressing sympathy for your loss.
I have nothing more to add.
