blue eyed lucy ?

dallan Jul 10, 2008 10:42 PM

I am thinking of getting a blue eyed lucy, my question is if the combo to get the blue eyed is mojave x lesser and then breed to a normal female would the offspring be lessers and mojaves and no normals? Thank you to all who respond

Yes, if your male leucistic is from cross lines like Lesser X Mojave then from the reports I've read you will get only the two grandparent types and no normals (and also no leucistic) breeding to a normal. These results are what really sealed the idea that Mojave and Lesser are alleles, different mutations of the same gene.
