C. ruschenbergerii

I am not a big tree boa person, but a friend of mine offered me a pair of cbb. babies With paper work. My questions are: How desireable is this species here in the states, and does any one here work with them. They are beautiful. But they are a small fortune. Before I invest I need to do some homework. Thanks Greg

Honestly I personally dont care for the Trinidads, but thats just me..they are a rarer find and not as common in the market as the other Corallus; thus the high prices..but again I would rather spend the money on something like the calico that ben has up for sale right now than on a ruschenbergerii for a breeding project...but again thats only my opinion and preference...maybe matt, mike,or others could chime in for you since they have been in the game alot longer than I and know the market for them better.

I had a pair of them a year or so ago and sold them. They are a big tree boa, but are very cool! I kind of miss them to tell you the truth.

CBB with paperwork is a true rarity, but the market for them is very limited. The people who would want them are the hardcore Corallus fanciers. I'm just guessing here, but I suspect the market for them is so small that a person would have a pretty hard time selling babies and would end up sitting on them for a while.
