Bumblebee X Normal hatch

jgjulander Jul 11, 2008 03:07 PM

Not the best odds, but what can you do? 1.0 spider and 2.1 normals. The normals have a different look to them. What do you think? The spider has some nice blushing. Hopefully the next 2 clutches sired by our Bee, Nacho, (including one to a mojave) turn out with better odds.
Thanks for looking,
Justin

Me too. I've been following the saga of Nacho it seems like forever. I think he's the coolest snake on these forums in years lol.

Thanks guys! He is in shed right now, but I will get some pics once he sheds. He did well this season, with 3 clutches his first year. Not bad for hatching out runty from an odd shaped egg. I'll post an update soon.

Those "normal" babies look far from it. There's gotta be something else going on. The Spider doesn't seem normal to me either. He is really a unique one.

Yeah, the "normals" look strange. The female looks a little different, but the pattern is not really like these babies. We bred her a while back to our het pied and the babies were also kind of different looking. I think we are going to keep the spider to breed back to the female. I thought I had another full-body shot of the female, but I could only find this one.

I have always thought she was a little different looking, but never have tried to prove her out. I think we need to breed at least one of her sons back to her. We'll see how it goes.
