Those are great!!! That is exactly what I want. What kind of glass did you use? Tempered or just regular window glass? My goal is to be able to build something like that. Did your husband draw up plans before-hand? Would he be willing to share them??
Laura
we got tempered glass for safety...nope no plans just "does it" but he is a carpenter by trade so he doesnt have to think much about it, he just "does it"
what is different is that he got a "biscut cutter" so he is "joining" the ends utilizing the biscut (the cutter makes notches in the ends of the wood and the wooden biscuts are glued in to make for a "clean" professional look, he is very proud 0f how its going....he is going to put vents into raised panel doors (cabinet doors which will open for access)and install ceramic fixtures and flouresent hoods, and attempt to keep the wiring when stacked orderly, there will be storage on the bottom and he put wheels on the base (a sperate piece) so i will be able to move it easily if i need to...
Im sorry I dont have plans...

1.0.0 ball python (mr snake),0.0.1 albino florida kingsnake (CK),1.0.0 leopard gecko (sebastian),0.1.0 colombian rainbow boa (luce),1.1.0 bearded dragon (kaipo and dulce), 1.1.0 colombian redtailed boas (adam and eve)
These cages are going to cost a fortune, look at how much Bud he had to drink just to get the first one built

well, isnt it compromise that makes a marriage work?

Dragons by Nature
He is a very talented, inventive, crazy person, we both are, so l8 yrs later and 2 kids one of
which is starting kindergarden and the other Jr High today, our crazyness keeps it alive, thankfully!
And although he initally resisted falling in love with our dragons and other assorted critters we have l0 lizards (mostly mine) and a few my older daughters,
he really loves them, especially queen Delilah, his couch sleeping buddy most eve's, she loves to snuggle up under his chin and snore along with him, now thats love!

I'm sure that was in our vows..
Will you reamain crazy, warped and continue to say things that make your spouse and others, think you are one sandwich short of a picnic?

a women would understand:
Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
A: So..... what's your question?
I resemble that remark!!
After all these years, and having married the worlds biggest procrastinator..
my new favorite line is: I'm turning in to the man I wanted to marry.
This, after putting new guts in toilets, laying tile, hooking up a gas dryer, pressure washing the deck, installing faucets, caulking bath tubs, painting etc. etc. etc

aww that is so sweet..
that is a beautiful piece of work and love for you and your dragon.
