CA-RE-09

CA-RE-07

CA-RE-02

CA-RE-05

Mariah, a new Hypo Cyclone BCI female I picked up this year from Nick Stone.

And some OT (well kinda OT, they are still Boas, Brazilian Rainbow Boas)

Fred, one of my adult BRB's...Hmmm, damp hide box or a nice soak in the water bowl - OOUUU, I know....both!!

Zoe, a striped female BRB I picked up to go along with the male I liked, she turned out to be the stunner of the two.

Chrissy, my #1 holdback het hypo female BRB

Chuck, my holdback het hypo male BRB, littermate to Chrissy

Apricot, one of my new "pearl line" BRB girls. So named for the side crescents being full spots, not just crescents.

Aubergine, another of the pearl line BRB girls.

Biwa, One of the pearl line males..

Ginger, one of my Will Bird line BRB females

Melanie, My holdback from my Betty x Fred 2007 BRB litter

Moon, my holdback from my Savannah x Nathan 2007 BRB litter

Bam Bam, OMG this guy really is this bright, every time I take him out he takes my breath away. He's my number one holdback from 2007, came from my Wilma x Fred BRB litter

Fluffy, what can I say, the ONLY snake I do NOT take a pic of his name tag first to ensure proper identification later.

I bought Fluffy (named by my wife - cute name huh?) a year ago from Brian Sharp. LOL, Brian has not updated his site and still has him for sale

Back story on him is ...

Was originally purchased at a show in CA as a normal looking BRB, no white scales. At a year or so in age, he started turning. Brian bought him from that original buyer (who I'm sure made a whopping profit) Brian bred him once and ended up losing all but a few of the babies (that had already been sold) to a thermostat failure.

Is it genetic, I honestly don't know. The scales are not damaged in any way, just lost all their color. I'm assuming it can't be dominant or their'd be more. Could be recessive and simply had never shown up before or Fluffy is an extreme example. I've seen pictures of BRB's with a few white scales and/or small white patches but nothing any where near Fluffy. Or it could be polygenic involving multiple genes. Or he could be a one off, unique, non inheritable specimen. Either way, I've bred him to two females and have begun working on the project. I figure it's at least 5 years before I know anything. I just hope I know something in 5 years, that'd mean some level of success!!!!
