Citrus Fruits and Roaches and Crickets

Mothi Sep 02, 2003 09:04 PM

Is citrus fruits bad for roaches and crickets? Let's say I gave them something to eat that had some lemon juice in it, would that be bad?

It seems that oranges provide a lot of moisture, sugar, amino acids and minerals to the roaches & crickets according to the link below which has a breakdown of its composition. Lemons are most likely, too acidic.

They devour them right down to the peel ASAP...good source of nutrition and moisture. I recommend them from our experience!
