Graphic photos but I'm sick of irresponsibe pet owners.....

This is the latest little rescue that came in on Monday. I won't even tell you his story...it still angers me too much. I will tell you that he's close to 3 years old and about 2 feet long. This is one of the worst cases of MBD I've ever seen. He's a beautiful little guy and seems to have the will to survive.

You are so wonderful for taking this poor ig in! Good luck with him, he's in the right hands now for the best future possible, thats for sure. I hope you can get him turned around, keep his progress posted!

with enough UVB and proper food and such. will the bulges go down after time? or is he stuck like that? its a shame he has very nice colors.

Matthew, I expect that some of the swellings will go down...not sure if they will disappear completely. We can only hope. He is a pretty little guy and seems very sweet. He's holding his own for now.

Oh Jiff, that is aweful. I am still not over the poor igs being used as target practice with paint guns.
I know he/she is in the best possible care with you!
Good luck and keep us posted.
