Red Baby

kitchi Jul 13, 2008 10:27 AM

I never thought I would buy from a pet store but, with remote quarantine, there is really no risk to my collection and I saw potential in this one. One of it's siblings was a shoe lace and is probably close to death. After a couple of feedings and some distilled water to help clean her out, she was looking good this morning. No photo alterations, she is really colorful, one of the most colorful I have seen as a baby. Not at the poss super Marron level but a potential high ranking challenger. Good news is she did not have mites but I need to look at the poop. I hope this one makes it. Regardless, I went beyond my norm and did my animal good deed for the year. It looks like she may be part BCC but there is no history.

This is one from the ladder tail litter I produced this year that I have not shown yet. It has a pink cast coming in all over and should color up nice. The one above has a couple months on this one, albeit it was not fed much.

yea that one is very pink, but that tail is killer, very nice.
