I have a 1.2 set of Albino RES turtles and found 7 eggs in the water this morning that weren't there last night when i arrived home at 2:00am from the bar. I woke up around noon today and found the eggs sitting at the bottom of the tank. There looked to be 3 that had been eaten, and another 3 that are still in tact. One fourth egg has a scrape in its egg shell and a piece of yolk is sticking out. Will this guy die? How long do i have before the eggs drown? I already have them in an incubator and want to incubate for females, whats the appropriate temperature? I believe these eggs to be fertilized, but this is my first time as a nurse to my turtles. Are there any tests i can do to check if the eggs are still alive right now, or in a month? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
Jeff
