ok so i was told this was a crimson but it looks like a little diffrent than the others i have seen. its also from a lady who only got her corn snakes from kathy love and she was getting rid of them so i bought them all off her 3.3 oakatees. one was a albino and the other this one. the rest were normals.

he has black eyes but no real dark checkers on stomache.. they are almost a orange brown.

Ok black eyes...would lead you to believe hypo.
Crimson is hypo maiami.
I don't really know if I would call it a crimson, though.
Doesn't really match what one would picture when crimson is mentioned.
So, for me I would just say hypo not typical crimson, but that's just my opinion

I concur-crimsons are variable, but that one doesn't quite have the background grey you like to see in a crimson. That said, lots of snakes looking like that have probably been produced from average crimson parents....

creamsicle is an albino hybrid. meaning red eyes. But if yours has brown that means its totally not albino. it looks like a hypo. in kathy loves book hypos can look like amels (albinos) but they have browns and brown eyes. Normals have black on the stomach. Hypos have a light brownish color and amels have reds and oranges. Looks like a hypo

Yes,..that thing is hypo BIG-TIME!,...but sort of hard to "nail-down" exactly what other genetic background it might also have,....it looks real close to several things, but one thing is for sure, it displays some great hypo characteristics!

Here is a pic of a crimson breeding a hypo miami. This is also a good pic to show the difference between them.
The larger snake in the center is the hypo miami female. The smaller one is the crimson and is owned by Jeff Cochran.

one of the crimson offspring that hatched out this year

looks like i have just a hypo. wonder why kathy love sold it to her as a crimson? damn this stuff gets to be pretty confusing when it comes to corn snakes. so many different morphs its hard to keep track.

Here's one of our nicer crimson hatchlings from this season-he'll keep that nice contrast between the blotches and the background color as he matures...

ok.crimson is just a hypo miami.....miami can be rusty, crimsony ,brick red and have orangish tints or grey in them with whites or faded off whites..

get it.....

there are a couple types of miami I think of......

.....it could be a crimson.....it is hypo something......it IS really cool......it is actually more pretty than a crimson......so be happy......

good looking snake......
