Here is the result of a 7 egg clutch. It is a breeding loan between Brock Wagner and myself. Brock gave me his adult male fire last winter and I put him to work. This clutch was Fire to a Pastel, we produced 1 normal, 2 pastels and 4.0 Fireflies. A 2nd Fire to Pastel clutch just hatched 2.0 Fireflies, 1.1 Fires and 1.1 normals. The hatchling Fireflies are really bright with tons of fading, they look similar to super pastels at this point. It will be interesting to see how their color changes as the they age.

This breeding loan with Mark Petros went very well! I can't believe the luck on hitting six male Firefly's from two clutches. I think I am going to have to send more stuff over there if this kind of luck continues! Nice job Mark!
