My first corn snake babies

mrkent Jul 15, 2008 01:29 AM

I'm getting jealous of you all posting pictures of your new babies. So, I decided to post pictures of my first successful breeding, back in 2004. The female is anery, and the male is hypo, het for anery. She laid 22 good eggs. Approx half were normals, and half were anery.

First are the babies pipping.

And this is my current project. Female Hypo, het for anery and stripe(or motley). Male ghost stripe. I hope to breed them next spring. I need to get better pictures. The sun washed out his colors.

Awesome pics, I love how they were all pipping together! My first hatchlings should come in about 3-4 weeks. My normal had 14 good eggs, one is not looking so good though.
Thanks for the pics
Joel
