Can i use insect screening to make an enclosure?

And has anyone have any ideas on making a enclosure?

This is not a good idea. This is because The cameleons will only be able to grip the screen with their nails, and eventualy it will break them off. I've seen a female panther that this happened to, it diddn't have a single nail left! Depending on species I would not go smaller than 1/8inch screen, with 1/4 inch being preferable. My cage is made of 1/4inch screen, and it allows the chamelon to wrap it's toes around the screen like a big branch instead of hanging from their nails.
