Male vs. Female

Rob328gts Jul 15, 2008 10:11 AM

Yes yes, I know there have been hundreds of threads on this I'm sure, however, the search engine here isn't very effective and 15 minutes of looking didn't help.

Is one known to have better temperament than the other?

Is one known to musk less?

Any other major differences?

Thanks!

In my opinion there is NO difference..

I agree with Mike but males seem to be bigger have more gun powder at least with Getulas, not to say they are agressive at all ,just a hungry snake seeks a mouthful when available, and can be trained to expect food when the cage is opened especially when the only time the cage is opened, food is offered,a fat snake is a happy snake. cheers Chris

I would agree with you that males tend to be a bit larger...

My females are more likely to musk than my males.
As adults, even the females rarely do - it just seems if they do, it's the females that do.

I decided my old sig was too big.

I'm in the same boat as Funky Res, my female Cal Kings musk more than my male. My female Speckled does not musk @ all.
