Thanks for the nice comment.

We have played with the Aztec and zigzag abberancy for some time now, the combination of the two abberancy's create a more uniform pattern, creating more of a wavy reverse wide stripe effect, some have a solid red wide stripe others not so solid, some of the solid stripers have their pattern broken into blocks like the picture below, we have also noticed with our Zagtecs that the side patterns are becoming more reduced.
Its a very intersting project.

i love it im not really a fan of either pattern but it looks good when mixed together. its nice to see someone stepping out of the box and using whats at hand instead of trying to just market the same stuff as something new.

Thanks Adam
Its a cool project, They surprize us every year, we get at least half Zagtec and the rest are a mix of zigzags or Aztecs with only a few normals thrown in from our breeders, its almost dominant but only amongst a small group, if we add a female or male from unrelated Zagtec blood then we get none, only normals.

Cheers

so you get all normals when bred with other lines of aztec?
well then that makes your line that much more special.
and again i love their looks

Cool, is that from zagtec parents , we have a small group of them that produce zagtec only in their group, any other aztec or zigzag pairings we try only ever produce normals or the standard looking Aztec or zigags.

Cheers

Yes, that's from zigzag X zigzag. Sometimes I'll get partial zigzags from a zigzag bred to a normally patterned snake.

We did a clutch useing this guy last year.. About 3/4s of the clutch was aztec to some degree.. He was breed to a female that is not known at the time to throw aztec babies..
