A hopeful pairing

mdc Jul 16, 2008 10:13 AM

I'm hoping this male motley het albino gets up to size to breed this girl later this year. I produced her is '05 from my very first litter ever and I'm am super happy with the way she turned out. I think she will add some nice color to the albino motleys.

Good luck with that pairing. I like that albino female. Is she stripe line? As you probably know, those 18 month males from my experience can be hit or miss regardless of size.

Thanks Shane. I have had zero luck with young males, so I figure I'm due, lol.

As for the albino, I produced her in 2005 with the first colombian boas I bought. A 66% het albino female from Alex Barrio (sp?) and a 100% het albino, poss het stripe from Pete Kahl.

Matt:

Good luck with that pairing, they should produce the nicest albino motleys ever.

Can you imagine how explosively colorful a Matt Crabe Red Line Sunglow Motley will look.

Good luck

Brian

Thanks for the kind words Brian. You may be in luck, at least as far as seeing a red line albino motley. The mom of the red albinos is huge after having last year off. I'm just debating on what to breed to her. I have a young albino arabesque (1st choice) and this male motley het (2nd choice).

I'm also hoping to produce red sunglow jungles this year. I was thinking of going for super jungles, but my jungle het albino won't be big enough. So instead, I decided to concentrate on adding as much color to them as possible. Jungle sunglow x the reddest het male I have produced. He's an '06, so it shouldn't be a problem for him.
