garter baby chamber??

Just curious but,should I provivde a damp environment,or box for my wandering garter to have her little ones when it's time? THanks!, Jeff

damp environment equals poor conditions for captive snakes. keep em dry w/ water dish .

Hey Jeff, I sure hope some melanistics pop out! I give all of my snakes a damp moss nest box weather for eggs or live babies, & they all use it every time. Good luck & keep us posted.

I agree Jeff-I've bred numerous checkered and flame garters, and the females always use their moss box-I think it's as important for them as for the egg layers.
