Congrats! Man that is a beautiful looking group of eggs. 10 on your first try? None went bad? They look like big and healthy looking eggs.

Enjoy.

There are actually two clutches in there that were laid the same week. 12 eggs total from two virgin (not anymore!) females. The plump 7 (in the back) I found not too long after they were laid so they stayed nice and big. The front 5 I found several days after they were laid and were already shrinking... I thought I lost them because they were so small and wrinkley but they made it! I was surprised how well they put up since I was reading so many stories horror stories about moldy eggs. I kept thinking to myself that I had the wrong set up for incubation... paranoia.

Will post pictures as soon as they decide to come out of hiding.

I've had nightmares about that but due to limited space I had to put the two clutches together. I figured since they were laid several days apart, I can separate them pretty much now before the other clutch starts hatching. I am going to cut open the rest of the het pied clutch and move the eggs into another container. No count on the black pastels yet, they are due this weekend. Can I move the pipped eggs out of the incubator or should I wait for them to exit the egg first?
