Duck To a Swan.

Several months ago, I ran into this Import male " the light pink one pictured. "

He had a fairly scarred up head, but I seen something in him, that was worth some effort.

He reminded me of what some use to call Brazilian many years ago
and had a shorter tail than typical Surinames and the head shape
and body structure also applied.

In fact, he came right out of a Suriname shipment and has been a
real Champion and has only gotten better.

Then, I found this female " pictured with the more gold/yellow coloration. "

She was and still is pretty gnarly, but I see something in her that is quite stunning.

She has a big old scar were the tail bands start and her head is scarred and the tip of her tail also bitten off.

At one time in her life " in the wilds of Suriname " she had a heck of a battle with something!

Beneath all of that, she looks allot like the male and I see a Boa, that in a few months will turn a beautiful orange and pink and gold girl.

Neither one will ever have thin and uniform saddles " Big Deal and Who Cares, " but when I see them, I see two Boas that are going to be striking in coloration and could one day produce some stellar offspring.

This Labor of love with these two, will pay off either way.

So, this is the " Gnarly Boy " and " Gnarly Girl. "

However, these two Ducks, will one day be Swans.

We have to pay respect to the fact that these gladiators can survive in the harshest of conditions. I remember looking through the holding pins at the wholesalers in Miami wondering how some of these snakes were able to still be alive. Yes a lot of those animals were like those two you have....gorgeous, but I was there for the pet trade and had to pass on animals with scars. Good eye for mothers gift to us!!!

to look beyond and imagine them " down the road. "

I do not think there will be any disappointments with these two.
