I am wondering if "boogers" as they are referred to are anything genetic or possibly a hint to any hidden hets ?

What the hell are "Boogers"?
It's just spots (boogers) that are under the nostrils. As far being a marker or anything genetic it's random as far as I know. Here's a pic of a "booger" mojave. The was another snake in the clutch with similar spots, and five more without them. They weren't present on either of the parents.

I hatched out 3 pos het albinos a few weeks back and two of them had these "boogers" i didnt know there was a name for it. The mom has a crazy patern (as do the babies) but i am thinking its just random. I will take some pics tonight when i get out of work and post them later or tommorow.

......
I've noticed it a lot in het pieds--- I'm sort of playing with that theory-- het pieds w/ the tail markers AND boogers --- seeing if theres a way to make more booger het pied babies--- see if it is at all genetic...
ver interesting that it happens a lot on hets though...
