Hello,

I am in Raleigh, North Carolina on vacation. While I am here i would like to get some field herping in. I have already captured and set free a 5 foot black rat snake, but i want more! Can anyone tell me what a good place is to herp in NC? The family is planning on visiting the mountains and the sandhills, and i could use any advice on what to look for and where to go. Raleigh is in the peidmont by the way, I would like to herp here as well. Any suggestions?
