pete25 Jul 19, 2008 07:51 AM

Hello.

i was asked if i had any pictures of my Tropidophis and i surdenly do.

Thougth i would post them in a thred for them selfes.

First some of my Tropidophis melanurus.

Mother to the babies i got last year.

Father to my babies.

Mom and the babies.

CBB 2007.

CBB 2007.

Again.

Now on to my Tropidophis haetianus.

Mom.

Sorry no pictures of dad.

Only two live babies. But still werry proud.

Force feeding them for some time.

But they have started to take pinkie mice.

Every time i see it i get blown away by the fact that they can consume such a large prey animal.

Thanks.

Peter.

I have heard of the genera however.

I would be proud too!!!

Very nice serpents. I bet they feed on different prey as neonates like small frogs, lizards, or something before they get big enough for rodent prey in the wild

Hello All.

Thanks for the compliments.

The pinkie the haetianus are eating is actually rubbed in gecko. If not it will have nothing to do with it.

Some of the melanurus babies eat pinkie mice rubbed in fish.

Sow that will proberly be there diet in the wild. As you writhe.

Peter.

Pete,

Thanks for the information on the scented prey items.

Frank
