Extreme Update

exposito Jul 19, 2008 08:27 AM

We got four Ghosts out of one of the Extreme to Ghost clutches and they all have red eyes. They are not as light as the guy we produced last year, but they are still pretty nice. The Extreme Hypo in the pic is the best one so far. There was also some aberrant stuff in these clutches.

Wow!,....very nice indeed!,.... Yeah, Joe!,.....that one certainly has the deep "blood-red" colored eyes and the much lighter dark bands that would be indicative of it being an extreme type animal. Exactly how would you categorize that one?....."ultra ghost", or "extreme ghost", etc...?

Both are real beauties, and that extreme hypo below is just OUTSTANDING!.....way to go!

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the kind words. We have not given much thought to a name. I think we will keep it simple. They are Extreme Ghosts, but not as nice as the one we produced last year. Maybe the best thing to do with all of the Extremes is just to give them a grade of A or B. A real light red eyed screamer would get an A grade and one with red eyes and darker bands would be a B grade. I think it is better to keep things simple. We have already had new people on the forum trying to figure out some of the different names of things. The four in this clutch would get a B and the guy below gets an A+.

Killer extreme Joe. That ghost is very nice also.Way better than normal ghosts.I have a ghost from last year that Mike produced and it is also almost a extreme. It always looks like its in the blue and it is very clean.I would say its a low end extreme.

Thanks Shannon,

Oh, and on an unrelated note from the Pit forum, the Ghost Bull that is throwing Hybinos and Snows came from my brother Scott at Sweeney's Serpents.

Hi Dave,

We tried to get a group shot, but when I opened the egg box one went left, one went right and one went down the middle. Luckily there were three of us to catch them, but it pretty much ended the group shot attempt. We will post better pics after they shed.
