While everyone is whipped up about SNOWS . . . .

. . . I have comment to make. One of my side projects, is doing exactly what Tribal is commenting about - sort of.

Earlier - I produced Tremper Albino hets - using a tremper male and a melanistic female. This combination actually produced better Hyper-mel babies than I'm producing right now.

I have bred those mel/albino hets back to an albino that has reduced color. Tons of white - but diffused yellow.

My goal? I hope/theorize/dream that since my hets have more spots/melanin - breeding them back tdo a reduced colored male will increase the likelyhood that they will be all-white (yes, I am using the temp/color method of incubating them).

I'm about a month away from finding out.

Am I crazy (probably). Hopefully, this will start me down the right path.

i cant really say anything about snows, but that amelanistic is BEAUTIFUL. i think extreme amounts of yellow, hybinos, are great, and now a lot of white is kool too.
