Hi there, everybody. I'm hoping you may be able to help out a student of mine. He is working on an informative speech about the discovery, function, and utility of crocodillin as an antibiotic. I know some of the folks who frequent this forum have first-hand knowledge of ongoing research, so I'm hoping you may be able to help out. We've pretty well exhausted the popular press stuff, mainly from the last 2 years, but we're still looking for a few things:
- A good graphic illustration of the peptide, especially with an explanation of how it functions
- technical and scientific literature, especially the results of the first few studies
- very current publications (within the last year)
Thanks for your time. He will be entering the speech in competitive forensics competitions throughout the year, and I'll keep you guys posted on how it's doing, if anybody's interested. I figure it's always good to get positive public exposure for herpetology.
