This is from two wild caught adults, the female laid 7 eggs and 6 hatched, no kinks, no problems with the ones that hatched.

Thats crazy looking rick, unfortunately, it was probably something to do with incubation.
The snakes are doing good, I am waiting for a shed, and Ill try to get some pics up.

I don't think it was incubation because the other six came out just fine. Being this one was so different it may have been a genetic problem that caused it to be weaker than the rest.

I going to have to agree with you on it possibly being a genetic issue. Even before I read your comment this crossed my mind because you may remember a poster showing a striped grey band hatchling that perished after a day or two of life (topic is further down on this page as of right now). Would love to hear what others think and if there have been striped grey bands that made it.

I think Bob said/typed exactly what the rest of us are all thinking.... That it really SUCKS that that hatchling didn't make it.. What a screamer that would have been!
