Congrats, I hope I have some luck this season. Where are you at? I dont even have eggs yet. KB
Hi, I am located in Germany. I was very suprised because the female is very small. Thought that she will lay eggs in 2 years or so. Very lucky that the setup seems to work.
Woooooh!
What a GREAT looking set up!
Have you got some other views to share?
It earns a lot to be showed!
Just a bit envy
Cheers

It's nice to see the captive bred of C. nubila. Good job! It's hard to know that the in Puerto Rico the population C. nubila is taken out of CITES so the possibility is open to euthanasia the population. The reason is that they are doing so well that population numbers rapidly increasing and now they call it a plague. To get food from people C. nubila became very brutal, aggressive and attack people.
where in puerto rico is this going on i was there and looking for cubans everywhere but could not find one.
I am not sure where exactly but I know for sure that in the harbour the Iguana's sometimes attacks tourists. I will ask the latest status of this problem and will let you know.
The Dutch Iguana Foundation have tried to get a part of the population to Europe. But unfortunately the costs where a problem for transport.
The C. nubila plaque still excist. The exact location is the island Magueyes (tiny island, South Puerto Rico)
