PHEW, today was HOT

curtis9980 Jul 20, 2008 09:42 PM

Glad we survived that one! It must have got to 99 or so today, but the turtles were brave soldiers, I must say. I sprayed the pen twice, once around nine-thirty and again around 5, and for being so hot, everyone came out and soaked it up.

Only bad thing was it wasn't until 9 or so this morning before I got up and put everyone in the big pen and by that time no one wanted to even look at food, much less eat. But I'm glad everyone can stand the heat, cause tomorrow's going to be just as hot or hotter!
