Blackthroat progress

gordano Jul 21, 2008 01:02 PM

About four weeks ago I aquired a blackthroat monitor that was about 13 inches long. After following the advice of many of you experts on kingsnake (BTW some other monitor forums are riddled with bad advice) my monitor is almost 20 inches (19.5 to be exact). I know monitor health is not just how fast you can get them to grow, but I believe its pretty good sign. Anyway THANKS GUYS!!! (you know who you are)

I have noticed more aggression in my blackthroat as well, but I think it could be that he is just healthier now and thus more able and willing to defend himself.
