Hi,

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I've been wondering for a while. What significance do the numbers mean in people's snake collections? Also can anyone recommend some good reading material on snake gene's and what HET means and breeding in general?

so .1 is male
1.0 is female
and 1.1 is unkown?

So when people say 2.0 they have 2 females?

No you didnt read his reply correctly. 1.o means male 0.1 female 0.0.1 unknown

I've seen people put down stuff like 2.0, 1.1, 1.2

What does this mean?

1.0 = one male
2.0 = two males
so on

0.1 = one female
0.2 = two females
so on

3.2.1 = 3 males, 2 females, and 1 unknown
