Paradigm Jungles & BW Caramel Jungles!!

BASICALLYBOAS Jul 21, 2008 04:25 PM

Well we finally had the litter we were most anticipating this season earlier this morning! We got a great litter of Paradigm Jungles & BW Caramel Jungles!

This started in late 2006 when we bred a Paradigm X Salmon Jungle and only got one male Jungle ParaHet and one female Salmon Jungle ParaHet. Those were the only two babies from that litter with of course lots of sluggs. I was very excited to say the least that one of them was a male! Below is a pic of the male Jungle ParaHet, which has now proven out to be a Jungle Het BW Caramel.

This season he was ready to go so I ran him to one of the original 2004 female Paradigms. This female did everything right and gave us a great litter today. I took tons of pics but very few of them came out to my liking. Here are a few from today and I will get more as soon as they shed. I can say that they are way better in person then these pics show. The Jungle gene really lightened up the Paradigm and BW Caramel and their colors and contrast are amazing! It also seemed to tweek the eye color of both of them a bit too!

I may try to get a few more pics of them up after I get them all cleaned up.

Hope you like them and thanks for looking!

Great job Mike, way cool.

Question on one baby. In the pic below is one stretched across the lower part of the pic, is that "just" a Jungle parahet? Stunning litter!!!

I got a call earlier while I was at work and just got to see these. All I can say is WOW!!!!! Those look much better than I imagined. Congrats Mike. To me the BW Caramel Jungles look like the Paradigms and the Paradigm Jungles look like Paraglows.

Thanks everyone!

We are very happy with how they turned out. I would have liked to have gotten a really wiggy patterned Jungle in either of the color phases, but I am happy enough with the outcome. The color is definitely better then we imagined it would be.

The nice thing is that we have an unrelated 07' female Jungle Het BW Caramel from our buddy Steve Scroggs that will definitely be paired up with a male Paradigm Jungle in a few years! Thanks Steve as she will definitely come in handy! Paradigm Super Jungles!!

Now I can't wait for the Paradigm Motley!

Thanks again for all the positive feedback!
