For all your help with my first snake a florida kingsnake brooksi female. I bought her at the WP Show last Sunday and had to wait over a week to hold her. She was terribly nervous all week but seemed to calm down a little when I put the fake plant in.
I got to hold her tonight for 15 mins prior to feeding, she was really good and no nipping. She's now taken two fuzzys in a week an doing fine

Yes,.......floridana, and the getula complex in general have an INSANE metabolism when compared to many other snakes. They almost need to be fed on a conveyor belt!..LOL!
