Did they finally make hybrids out of the two species?
Have you got any written info on this. As far as I knew they still hadn't been able to do this successfully.

Cant count your eggs before they hatch. They are from a different genus and i would be surprised if eggs laid weren't infertiles and hatched babies would be more likely a case of sperm retention or parthenogenesis unless the babies look like a cross between the two. I hope I am wrong and just speaking out of turn though. Please elaborate
No, I think the genetic material is too different. ALthough you have people trying like madmen to charge good moolah for those hybrids...
No, it is my understanding that this is not possible. Besides, it is not morally sound either to create hybrids unnaturally.
I don't have any written information. All I was told is that they can be bred, the store I was at claimed they had some. They even pulled one out, but it looked like a normal AFT to me. Maybe they were just trying to sell something? Sorry for the excitement.
