Someone e-mailed this picture to me to see if I knew what it is, but I don't. I think maybe some kind of Asian rat snake. Unfortunately, I have no info on where it was seen or anything. Thanks!

That's a Stripe-tailed Ratsnake (aka Beauty Snake). It used to be Elaphe taeniura, but I can't remember the new genus name.

It is also calles the trinket rat snake.

The trinket ratsnake is actually a different species (Elaphe helenae) than the stripe-tailed ratsnake (Elaphe taeniura).
