Have you gotten any of this rain?

Some of the good systems have been missing us lately up here in VA, so I've been turning the sprinkler on every now and then for a little relief (for the turtles).

It's been pouring here in Florida. My redfoots and my boxies are loving it. The redfoots actually dug out a mud wallow in the back of the pen. The boxies were prowling all around the pen looking for bugs. The possum about destroyed the house looking for a place to hide from the thunder and lightning.

Steph, YES, thank the Lord! In fact, it rained like a big dog for most of the morning today. I hate to say this, but we really need a slow moving tropical storm system to sweep over this area for about a week. Let's hope for low winds and lots of precip..

We got some of it yesterday evening, thank goodness. Right now our area doesn't have a rainfall deficit, but that could change quickly. I know parts of NC are really suffering.

we have not had rain in haiku since early April.
we are making up for it right now - whooppeee
I have been having problems w/my water pipes and have been working on plumbing of and on for the past month, so it is nice to get all my outside nurseries watered w/o dragging hoses!
My turtles are definitely happier.
