Albino X Albino

blowitch Jul 23, 2008 05:51 PM

I now I've heard talk before that it might not be a good thing to do, creating genetic weaknesses and what not. But has anyone actually done it (I'm sure they have) and what was the result? I'd really want to hear from those that have done it.

Thanks.

I hope this isn't a problem - I hope to do this in the future.

I'd like to learn more about this,
Ken

Never heard anything bad about breeding albino to albino...the only way I can see it being negative is if the albino's in question are far too closely related (offspring of siblings of siblings of siblings, that sort of thing)

The results from an albino x albino will be all albino offspring.

I have done this twice with no problems. One time was a mother son combo also. The babies seem to have been as big, and hardy as
albino to het.
