Wild Blackneck

brhaco Jul 23, 2008 06:06 PM

This yearling cyrtopsis has taken to hanging around the "water wall" on Ron Tremper'e ranch near Boerne, TX. The flowing water attracts lots of cricket and leopard frog prey, and this little guy is growing fast...

Nice shot man!!! Thats a vivid look at a blackneck, thanks for sharing. I had a young red-sided hanging out by my garden pond in the front yard last year but havent seen any this year, and funny thing is this year I have tons of toad tadpoles in both the front yard and back yard ponds, but no garters, kinda disapointed. Coarse maybe the reason i have tons of tadpoles is NO GARTERS
